It was quite a very busy week for me because I had to prepare a short presentation for the staff meeting wherein I had to discuss new concepts such as down sizing, re-engineering, kaizen, lean manufacturing, performance management, and cost controls with other staff in order to bring them up to date with these concepts so that it would be more clearly emphasize to them...being a top executive keeps me aware of such needs to inform the members of the organization of the new concepts of management...the meeting started off well with my presentation while the interactive nature of the discussion brought the CEO and The VP for administration to take the microphone to discuss other matters with the staff related to the topics that I have discussed...I was able to prepare a power point presentation in the nick of time...part of the discussion was also done on the past six months of operations wherein I have collected a number of data such as sales orders, shipped orders, production output, manpower profile, stockroom issuances, and other pertinent data...to guage the company's performance for the past few months...But I guess the meeting went quite well because as I have learned that it was the first time that we had a staff meeting done with a power point and that impressed top management because the meeting was quite focus and deliberate...the meeting also presented an improvement with the past meeting and clearly shows my trade mark because I was pushing others to learn new presentation skills so that a more professional outlook could be attained...I know that with this development...my bosses are quite happy, fulfilled, and satisfied that we have improved from the previous meetings...I am also happy that I was able to contribute to its success...I am challenged with the opportunity to prove my worth for the job...
